It's still the Wild West.

But it's getting better.

We're talking about web sites and standards. To this day, the same website can look somewhat inconcsistent on each and every desktop around the world.

Why? Different people use different operating systems, different web browsers, with different monitors, set to different resolutions, with different fonts installed on their very different computers.

We believe the key to successful web design is creating a clean look that is easy to understand and navigate, with few -- if any -- bells and whistles.

A good design doesn't need them.

A good website needs an internal logic that allows anyone -- from a college student to a retiree -- to easily move around your site, and find the information they need.

If they can't, or they get bored or lost, they'll just go someplace else
